Thai-Yoga Bodywork
A Thai-yoga treatment is a positive energizing, uplifting experience for both the client and the practitioner. A session is a flowing dialog between client and practitioner, akin to a dance or martial arts form. Thai-yoga is performed on a floor mat with the client wearing loose fitting clothing.
Combined techniques include applying gentle pressure with the hands and feet, rhythmic massage, assisted yoga stretches, gentle twisting, rhythmic rocking, range of motion work, and joint compression. With these techniques, the body begins to open and regain flexibility and ease of movement, while the mind gently returns to calm alertness. Tension and toxic material is released from the joints, muscles, and connective tissue. The effect is uniquely relaxing as well as energizing.
Added benefits of Thai-Yoga Bodywork include:
Toning of internal organs
Increased energy and reduced stagnation

Reflexology
A gentle form of therapeutic treatment applied to the feet and sometimes to the hands. Reflexology is based on the belief that there are reflex areas on the feet and hands corresponding to all the parts of the body including major organs. Using the thumbs and fingers, the therapist applies pressure to the feet or hands to stimulate organs and clear out congestion and restore normal functioning and health. This work is similar to Acupressure but is limited to the feet and/or hands and ears and does not focus on the specific meridian points.
